This Fall, the Help Network has gotten a little more attention that we’re used to! It was a precious honor for us to share about the origin of the ministry, connect with dear friends, and celebrate the incredible life of our J at his memorial service. That came along with new partners, and a growing network, by the grace of God! With fresh eyes on the Help Network, we see God cultivating our community of prayer and support for the Kingdom work happening daily in India. This update includes quite a lot of good news from our friends—see below! Here’s how you can pray in light of these updates:
Pray with us:
For God’s merciful intervention at all levels of India’s national and state governments
For physical and spiritual protection over our friends, especially P., his wife S., and their children, since they are working amid intense oppression
For the salvation of the family K. continues to serve—we know God is in pursuit of them
For protection and health for M and his wife as they travel
For strength for F. in her new job, and for clear direction of the Holy Spirit in all her work
For God’s hand in the process of building the new church in the South
For God’s continued blessing over the conviction and vision He has given all our partners, to preach, disciple, and establish church communities
For unity in the church in all India, while many pressures are creating division and strain
The Help Network supports our partners constantly through prayer and practical resources, allowing them to act beyond their daily subsistence for the Kingdom—we are humbled to play a small role in how God provides
Updates for December 2025
In the South
Pastor M. and his family continue the project of expanding their church with a new location, designed to nurture the younger generation. After much prayer and much paperwork, the registration on the land has been completed! The work on the building can be started in earnest once all the red tape is cleared.
Travel plans are in place for Pastor M. and his wife, and while we will keep details confidential for safety, we can share that the travel is good news, and God will bless them through it!
F. is adjusting to her new work at the state level, overseeing curriculum development for schools. The job is extremely demanding, and her family has quite a lot of adjusting to do, but God is already moving in her and through her on this path.
THN sponsors a meal for the church and the surrounding community once a week, and we were thrilled to receive pictures from a recent gathering!
In the North
Violent persecution continues against Christian communities. We have learned that now even women and children are being imprisoned, as a means of manipulating families.
Even in such a climate, faithful teacher K. continues to walk regularly to a rural area outside her city, to bring English tutoring to a non-believing family—she is building a relationship with the family, and specifically with their small daughter as she teaches spoken English. She carries the Holy Spirit into the home, through her care and service.
Pastor P. has begun taking online courses on elderly care and geriatric health—in our last conversation, he described a calling God has placed on his heart for a “widows’ home” to care for ill or abandoned elderly. These new classes will supplement the medical training he has already undertaken to expand his ministry skillset. In an environment where preaching and gathering are criminalized and punished, P. is relentlessly creative in following the call of the Gospel as a shepherd to the people God places before him.
*We protect the identities of our partners in all materials for their safety*
